What makes an idea worth building?
I look for a real, repeated frustration and a clear reason someone would choose the product. The best ideas usually sound simple because they remove work rather than add more of it.
What have you learned from shipping your own apps?
A smaller product that solves one problem well is more valuable than a long feature list. Shipping also teaches you what planning cannot: how people understand the product, where they hesitate and what they actually return for.
What is the hardest part of building independently?
Choosing what not to build. Development, design, support and product decisions all compete for attention, so protecting the core idea is often the most important job.
How do you use AI while building?
I use AI throughout research, prototyping, development and testing. It helps me explore and iterate quickly, but I still make the product decisions and check the details that shape the experience.
Why build both mobile and web apps?
Some ideas belong in your pocket and need the immediacy of a mobile app. Others need the space, reach or connected workflows of the web. I choose the format around the problem and the people using it.
What are you building next?
